  1. Draw four lines from dot to dot to form a square around a /k, g/ target.
  2. Produce the target velar sound every time you draw a line.
  3. Once a square is formed around a /k, g/ target word, move on to the next.
  4. Your students will have 40 opportunities to produce their targeted velar sounds.

This version of the Velar Fronting game uses the same target words as the Print Version, but is interactive and animated using PowerPoint.

  1. First, select the velar targets you want to work on. Click on the circles and pictures to see shapes and lines appear or disappear until a square is formed around a velar sound.
  2. Produce the /k, g/ word every time you click. Your students will have 50 opportunities to produce each velar target.
